Job Summary
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all casino facility areas by performing cleaning and sanitation activities for public and employee spaces. Clean building floors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment while servicing and supplying restrooms. Practice safe work procedures and health and safety policies to ensure a hazard-free environment, reporting any maintenance or safety issues immediately. Obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Work evenings, weekends, and shift work while lifting and moving cleaning equipment. Full benefits package available for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- A secondary school diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education
- Experience in the related field of one (1) or more years
- Proven high level of Customer Service
- Organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
- The ability to work evenings, weekends and shift work
- The ability to lift, push, pull and move house cleaning equipment and supplies
- Good physical fitness to maintain a constant pace of manual work
- General knowledge of cleanliness and sanitation
- The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
