Job Summary
Hotel Housekeeping staff responsible for cleaning hotel rooms, halls, casino areas, and related facilities; duties include stocking supplies, applying cleaning solvents, operating cleaning equipment, cleaning carpets and upholstery, emptying trash, washing windows and surfaces, handling biohazard material, responding to inquiries, and ensuring issues are promptly corrected; prior Environmental Services/housekeeping experience and knowledge of cleaning chemicals and health regulations are preferred; reports to housekeeping supervisor/manager; additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Environmental Services/Housekeeping Experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations they undergo
- Knowledge of cleaning machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and basic maintenance
- General knowledge of cleaning requirements in the hospitality industry
- Understand government public health regulations
