Job Summary
Conduct daily rounds to clean all assigned areas, following sanitary procedures and instructions. Maintain facility equipment, carts, and work areas while performing inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying managers of needs. Promptly report maintenance issues and adhere to all safety, infection control, and Material Safety Data Sheet regulations. Ensure sanitary conditions are met and uphold the Statement of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Plan. Work flexible shifts with physical demands including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of housekeeping experience working in a skilled nursing facility environment
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Must have a polite and courteous demeanor towards residents and staff members
- Ability to multi-task and work a flexible shift
- Ability to meet physical demands with standing, bending, stooping, walking, and lifting at least 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience being exposed to and working with commercial cleaning agents/chemicals
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
