Job Summary
Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting company quality standards. Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry. Partner with the team to ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to safety rules, including PPE, fire extinguishers, and lockout tagout procedures. Operate cleaning equipment such as irons, washers, dryers, brooms, mops, and vacuums. Work quickly without compromising quality while following chemical usage procedures. This full-time role supports a cutting-edge Assisted Living and Memory Care community at The Legacy at Southpointe.
Required Qualifications
- Able to operate cleaning equipment such as: iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Able to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Ability to follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment which may require basic math conversions
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Basic knowledge of, and the ability to, read and communicate in English
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper preferred
