Job Summary
Housekeeper at Telecare's Mental Health Rehabilitation Center; performs cleaning tasks across facility, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing sinks and surfaces, cleaning windows, transporting medical waste, and distributing clean laundry. Requires 1 year of relevant experience in hotel/healthcare; HS diploma or GED preferred. Shift: Full-Time, Tuesday–Saturday 2:00 pm–10:30 pm. Starting wage $21.78/hour with union membership requirements upon hire and pay differentials by geography. Emphasizes teamwork, safety procedures, and adherence to facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of relevant experience in the hotel, motel, health care or a similar work environment is required
- Experience in a health care setting is preferred
- High school graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent is preferred
- Applicant must be finger printed, sign under penalty of perjury that there has been no conviction of any crime, other than minor traffic offenses, and receive clearance from the Department of Justice
