Job Summary
Housekeeper responsible for cleaning common living areas and resident apartments in the community; oversee cleansing of the entire facility with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms; operate laundry equipment; report maintenance and supply needs; follow policies on resident privacy; attend required in-services and staff meetings; maintain cleanliness of offices; ensure proper storage of cleaning products and use of approved products; work as part of a team and support Harmony Senior Services' commitment to quality senior living.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Housekeeping experience highly desired
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
- Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team
- Polite and courteous to all residents, visitors, co-workers and management team
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push and pull for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet
- Must wear designated uniform during work hours and maintain good personal hygiene
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
