Job Summary
Clean offices, patient rooms, treatment areas, corridors, and waiting spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. Properly handle and dispose of waste while checking stocking levels of consumables and replacing them as needed. Ensure all areas are inspected according to The Joint Commission (TJC) Standards and protect equipment from damage. Notify supervisors of any deficits, damages, or disturbances and address complaints with professionalism. Work on your feet most of the day, lifting up to 50 lbs, while adhering to health and safety rules and managing assignments in a fast-paced environment. A valid NYS Driver License may be required for site driving.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working in a fast pace environment without compromising quality
- Ability to measure cleaning supplies
- Must be able to work in a harmonious manner with all other departments
- Must be able to map out assignments and complete them in a timely manner
- Potential of needing a valid NYS Driver License
- Knowledge of the English language
