Housekeeper – Full-Time Days | Skilled Nursing

Job Summary
Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established schedules and standards. Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize assigned areas, while cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to support infection prevention. Empty trash, replace liners, and replenish paper products, soap, and other housekeeping supplies. Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department and follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures. Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner, working collaboratively with Nursing, Environmental Services, and other departments to provide exceptional resident care. This role requires rotating weekends and is available for the 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM day shift at Friendship Village Chesterfield, a senior living community committed to creating a supportive environment for employees and residents.
Required Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or a hotel
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift
- Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
- Rotating weekends
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
