Job Summary
Performs routine cleaning of assigned areas in Senior or Assisted Living settings; sanitizes room contents after resident discharge for a terminal clean; cleans apartments after move/renovation; notes maintenance needs and reports to Housekeeping Supervision; moves and relocates furniture as needed; sets up and breaks down rooms for meetings, banquets, and classes; maintains floor and carpet care; ensures safety and cleanliness guidelines are met 100% of the time; cross-trained on multiple floors; communicates changes in resident status to supervision or clinical staff; may be assigned other duties as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Institutional housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to use cleaning chemicals, supplies, tools and equipment
- Ability to collaborate to provide optimal customer service
- Ability to lift and transport objects weighing up to 65lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, walk and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work from a ladder
- Manual dexterity and coordination
