Job Summary
The Housekeeper performs terminal cleaning of rooms after patients are discharged and cleans nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas and public restrooms. Duties include making beds, emptying trash, wiping equipment, cleaning furniture, polishing floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning restrooms, laundering hospital linen, and daily inspection and inventory of housekeeping equipment. Training on cleaning chemicals provided with demonstrated competency in usage, disposal, and safety to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment. Schedule: Full time, 7:00AM - 3:30PM, rotating weekends and holidays. Dayton Children’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
