Job Summary
Stock the housekeeping cart with supplies, replace linens, and thoroughly clean guest rooms, hallways, and public areas daily while removing trash and dirty linens. Perform deep cleaning tasks such as changing AC filters, cleaning coils, and touching up paint or furniture as assigned by a supervisor. Maintain high standards of personal grooming, approach all guest and employee encounters with a friendly service-oriented manner, and comply with Aimbridge Hospitality safety and operational regulations. Work weekends as required with a schedule varying according to hotel needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to disassemble furniture or items in the guest room
- Must be able to change AC filters
- Must be able to clean AC coils
- Must be able to touch up paint on walls/molding
- Must be able to touch up scratched furniture
- Must be able to rehang closed slide doors
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
