Job Summary
Clean, wash, sanitize, and dust resident rooms, care center offices, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas while following HCF policies, safety procedures, and infection control practices. Empty trash into proper containers, keep utility and storage areas neat, move furniture, and cross-train as a laundry worker for special assignments. Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors. Attend required in-service education and meet job-related competencies outlined in the Skills Competency Manual. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and have good visual acuity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must follow HCF Policies and Procedures
- Must meet job related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual
- Follows all safety policies and procedures during daily tasks
- Attend required in-service education
- Follows appropriate Infection Control and Universal Precaution practices when performing department procedures
- Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors
