Job Summary
Housekeeper position at Telecare’s La Paz Gero-Psychiatric center (Paramount, CA) for a Full-Time 3 pm–11:30 pm shift. Responsibilities include cleaning and servicing facility areas, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, handling laundry duties, and supporting safety procedures. Requires English literacy, at least 18 years old, and CPR/CPI/First Aid certification (or within 60 days). Prior experience in hotel, healthcare, or similar environment preferred; High school diploma or GED preferred. Starting wage around $21/hour with geographic differentials; benefits and regulatory clearances apply.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of relevant experience in hotel, motel, health care, or a similar work environment
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to follow written and verbal directions
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
- All opportunities contingent upon post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification; driving/licensing requirements if driving is required
