Job Summary
Housekeeper at First Atlantic Healthcare’s Portland Center Assisted Living. Part-time role focused on keeping residents' living spaces clean, attractive, and safe. Responsibilities include day-to-day cleaning to provide a positive impression for Residents, families, and visitors. Flexible shifts (days or evenings) with potential tuition reimbursement and education support; full-time employees receive medical/dental/vision, disability coverage, employer-paid life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k). Requires high school graduate or equivalent (preferred), prior cleaning/healthcare experience (preferred), ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and successful Maine State Background Check.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Prior cleaning or healthcare experience preferred; and we are very happy to train!
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs floor to waist; lift 10 lbs waist to shoulder; lift and carry 30 lbs; and push/pull 40 lbs.
- Learn about regulations and guidelines governing environmental services functions in the long-term care facility
