Job Summary
Clean all resident apartments and common areas on a scheduled basis, including emptying wastebaskets, sanitizing bathrooms, changing linens, vacuuming, and washing windows. Pick up resident laundry weekly and check vacant units according to assigned schedules. Maintain a clean housekeeping cart and advise supervisors when supplies need reordering. Handle resident concerns with a professional demeanor and communicate relevant information to management. Follow safe chemical handling guidelines and emergency procedures while ensuring all spaces remain safe and attractive for residents and guests.
Required Qualifications
- A continuous and consistent demonstrated interest in and knowledge about the elderly and their needs and the competency to meet those needs on a consistent basis.
- An interest in and willingness to learn and a demonstrated initiative in developing skills in caring for the elderly consistent with the philosophy and policies of the Community.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to lift 11-25 lbs.
- Must be able to lift 26-50 lbs.
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
- Must be able to carry up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to carry 11 to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to reach above shoulder height.
- Must be able to reach at shoulder height.
- Must be able to reach below shoulder height.
- Must be able to push/pull.
