Job Summary
Environmental Services Technician responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across campus buildings. Responsibilities include cleaning and servicing assigned areas; sweeping, mopping, buffing floors; vacuuming rugs; cleaning restrooms and offices; replenishing supplies; washing windows and walls; collecting and disposing of trash; sanitizing containers per Health Department requirements; maintaining a running log of service calls and stored items; packing/unpacking and transporting materials; assisting with inter-department material transfers; and performing related duties as assigned. Requires attention to cleanliness, safety, ability to work in a structured full-time schedule, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to understand and follow instructions generally acquired through partial high school education
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Ability to work assigned shifts, including overnight hours
