Job Summary
Housekeeper at Easterseals NH & VT Military and Veterans Campus performs cleaning, laundry and floor care across assigned areas to meet hospitality standards. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms (beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms), laundry operations (washing, drying, folding, linens delivery), stocking linens and guest items, inventory management of supplies, coordinating with leadership for ordering, responding to guest inquiries with courteous service, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation and state licensing standards, and reporting safety/maintenance concerns. Requires at least 1 year in housekeeping or similar hospitality role, awareness of cleaning techniques and infection-control procedures, ability to work independently, strong communication and organization skills, and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Hours are full-time, 40 per week, with Monday–Friday schedule and some evenings/weekends; compensation is $19.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and infection control procedures preferred
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations preferred
- Ability to work independently while adhering to policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
