Job Summary
Conduct deep cleaning and standard room maintenance in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas daily. Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of rooms per shift, removing trash and dirty linens while changing AC filters, touching up paint, and repairing minor furniture issues. Complete pre-cleaning duties including setting up the housekeeping cart with supplies and replacing bed linens. Approach all guest and employee encounters with a friendly, service-oriented manner while maintaining high personal grooming standards. Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- experience in a hotel or a related field
- strong attention to detail
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
- ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
