Job Summary
Stock the housekeeping cart with room supplies, replace bed linens, and replenish guest amenities while cleaning guest rooms, hallways, and public areas daily. Perform deep cleaning tasks such as changing AC filters, cleaning coils, touching up paint, and disassembling furniture as assigned. Remove trash and dirty linens from rooms, ensuring all pre-cleaning duties are completed before restocking. Approach guests and employees with a friendly service-oriented manner while maintaining high personal grooming standards and adhering to Aimbridge Hospitality safety regulations. Schedule varies according to hotel needs; full-time roles offer daily pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k. Located at Courtyard by Marriott Appleton Riverfront, part of Aimbridge's global portfolio of over 1,550 hotels.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards)
- Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
