Job Summary
Conduct disinfection and cleanliness in patient care, outpatient, and other hospital areas following the 7-step cleaning process and infection control guidelines. Restock paper products and chemicals throughout hospital and public areas, remove trash from assigned zones, and perform discharge cleaning using approved chemicals. Deliver exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, families, and staff while adhering to department policies and procedures. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands including standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with this position that involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous healthcare cleaning experience preferred
