Job Summary
Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces, including mattress inspection, vacuuming, spot cleaning, dusting, touch-up painting, and minor repairs like tightening toilet seats or replacing light fixtures. Perform general cleaning of all guestroom surfaces, tubs, walls, floors, and windows. Report serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager. Adhere to all company safety policies, complete required training, and maintain professional appearance while welcoming guests and addressing service needs. Reach overhead and below the knees, lift objects up to 50 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
