Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning and janitorial duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, window cleaning, and disinfecting areas while maintaining resident rights, dignity, and privacy. Clean dining rooms and food service areas after meals per infection control standards, and assist in identifying and reporting safety hazards or repair needs. Handle, store, and supervise chemicals safely, ensuring proper labeling and use of personal protective equipment. Wash, dry, hang, and put away linens; keep housekeeping closets neat and orderly. Perform tasks as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor, Administrator, or Designee, and work collaboratively with all staff to support resident care and facility operations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or GED
- State Police background check that is free from barrier offenses
- A current Tuberculosis screening on or within 7 days prior to the first day of employment and free from Tuberculosis
- At least every other weekend & holiday hours required
- The ability to meet physical requirements for position
- The ability to pass a drug test
- Closed-toe shoes
- Attendance is required during inclement weather
