Job Summary
Demonstrate SRIM's core value of the Golden Rule by treating residents, families, and associates with empathy, kindness, and respect. Perform daily dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and deep cleaning of resident rooms, administrative offices, and bathrooms to maintain an orderly, clean, and sanitary environment. Respond promptly to resident and visitor requests for assistance, including serving residents in the dining room and participating in leisure activities. Follow established cleaning schedules, safety protocols, and emergency procedures while reporting hazards immediately to a supervisor. Maintain a safe working environment using proper body mechanics and comply with HIPAA regulations and attendance policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one year related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
