Job Summary
Receive room lists from management and prioritize cleaning assignments. Clean, stock, and maintain guest rooms per Colwen and brand standards while responding promptly to guest and department requests. Transport cleaning carts, check inventory, restock amenities, and make beds with fresh linens. Disinfect bathrooms and kitchen areas, remove trash and dirty linens, and verify appliance functionality. Dust furniture, polish surfaces, vacuum carpets, and notify maintenance of repairs. Launder soiled linens by loading washers and dryers and folding clean items. Perform final walk-arounds to ensure rooms meet hotel standards before departure. This role requires a willingness to work a rotational 7-day cycle including weekends and holidays. Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Remain discreet and respect privacy of guests, work with the highest level of integrity
- Perform consistent work to the highest standard
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly way
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
- Willingness to work rotational 7-day work cycle; including weekends and holidays
