Housekeeper-CITZ ICF Helen Kaplan Program

Maintain residence cleanliness through daily dusting, sweeping, scrubbing bathrooms, washing windows, and vacuuming to ensure suitable living quarters. Clean resident bedrooms, offices, hallways, dining rooms, laundry rooms, and recreation areas by emptying garbage, wiping equipment, and sanitizing surfaces. Monitor and refill sanitary supplies, dispose of OSHA bio-hazardous waste in compliance with regulations, and train new housekeepers on equipment and techniques. Adhere to Federal and New York State regulations, agency policies, and mandatory training requirements while reporting abuse or neglect as a mandated reporter. Complete fingerprint/criminal background checks and perform additional duties as requested by the supervisor.
