Housekeeper

Housekeeper in Environmental Services responsible for cleaning patient rooms and common areas to meet safety and quality standards. Duties include dust and damp mopping, sanitizing bathrooms and surfaces, emptying trash, assisting with laundry when needed, reporting equipment or supply needs, following infection control procedures, and following supervisor instructions. Must communicate effectively with residents, staff, and clients, maintain sanitation and safety guidelines, and perform routine, repetitive tasks across shifts. Requires ability to understand and follow MSDS, ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely, and strong interpersonal skills. Eligible candidates typically hold a high school diploma or equivalent and can work with minimal supervision after training.
