Job Summary
Conduct thorough cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and laundry across resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices. Collect and launder soiled linens, then fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry. Report supply and equipment needs to the Supervisor and restock replenish supplies as required. Collaborate with maintenance staff to report and address necessary repairs noticed during the workday. Ensure effective communication with residents' families regarding care and wellbeing while engaging in conflict intervention and resolution when needed. Perform these tasks on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule throughout the community while following infection prevention protocols and using PPE as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds independently, and up to 200 pounds with assistance
- Required to communicate effectively and identify/interpret written information
- Required to follow all infection prevention and control protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Required to complete a background check and drug screening
- Required to participate in required health assessments (such as TB testing or physical evaluations)
- Required to use designated personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy and applicable law
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Housekeeping experience
- CPR or BLS certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable
