Job Summary
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors by performing housekeeping and laundry services throughout the community. Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules in resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices, while collecting and laundering soiled linens per policy. Restock supplies, report repair needs to the Maintenance Director, and coordinate with staff to ensure effective communication regarding residents' physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing. Address conflicts and resolve issues for residents, families, and employees as needed. Work in coordination with maintenance to report necessary repairs and follow infection prevention protocols using personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds independently, and up to 200 pounds with assistance
- Required to communicate effectively and identify/interpret written information
- Required to follow all infection prevention and control protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Required to complete a background check and drug screening
- Required to participate in required health assessments (such as TB testing or physical evaluations)
- Required to use designated personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy and applicable law
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Housekeeping experience
- CPR or BLS certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable
