Job Summary
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors by performing housekeeping and laundry services throughout the community. Execute thorough cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and linen collection in assigned areas such as resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices. Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry while reporting supply and equipment needs to the Supervisor. Collaborate with maintenance staff to report necessary repairs and ensure effective communication with residents' families regarding care. Work in coordination with management to promote a healthy environment, resolve conflicts, and participate in staff activities fostering teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Weekend availability - 8:00AM to 4:00PM
- Potential for additional hours on Friday and Monday
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, or balance
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds independently
- Ability to lift up to 200 pounds with assistance
- Ability to communicate effectively and identify/interpret written information
- Ability to follow all infection prevention and control protocols
- Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
- Ability to complete a background check
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to participate in required health assessments (such as TB testing or physical evaluations)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Housekeeping experience
- CPR or BLS certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable
