Job Summary
Cleans and vacuums common areas and resident rooms, including bathrooms, replenishing supplies daily. Dusts vents, light fixtures, and doors; wets/dries mops tile floors and vacuums carpets. Cleans equipment and housekeeping room, keeping carts stocked and replacing vacuum bags and filters. Demonstrates sensitivity to resident needs while maintaining a kind and respectful manner. Performs all duties consistent with quality standards, infection control, and safety measures using Standard Precautions. Requires independent, dependable work with English reading, writing, and speaking skills. Schedule includes every other weekend and alternate holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Have the ability to work independently and dependably to maintain the cleanliness of the common areas and resident living areas.
- Reading, writing and speaking English is a requirement of the position.
