Job Summary

Conduct daily dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of common areas while performing deep cleaning of resident rooms and sanitizing bathrooms. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment by responding promptly to resident requests, assisting in dining room service, and participating in leisure activities. Uphold core values by treating residents, families, and associates with empathy, kindness, and respect while communicating effectively across languages. Observe and report safety hazards immediately, adhere to established policies during emergencies, and comply with HIPAA regulations. Wear appropriate dress and participate in required trainings and meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one year related experience and/or training
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to regularly stand
  • Ability to regularly walk
  • Ability to regularly use hands
  • Ability to regularly reach with hands and arms

  • Attends and/or participates in trainings, in-service and mandatory meetings
  • Is considered essential personnel during emergencies and/or inclement weather
  • Is required to report or remain at community until released by supervisor
