Job Summary
Housekeeper at SRIM community responsible for cleaning and sanitizing common areas and resident rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, deep cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, and carpets. Must maintain a clean, safe environment, interact with residents and families with empathy and respect, follow HIPAA regulations, participate in trainings, and support a dignified atmosphere. Essential duties include assisting nursing staff as needed, dining room service support, and reporting safety hazards; must be able to work as part of a team and adhere to attendance and dress code policies. Requires a high school diploma or GED and/or one year of related experience or training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other employees; empathy, kindness, compassion, and respect.
- Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds; basic physical demands.
- Willingness to participate in trainings, in-service and mandatory meetings.
- Adherence to attendance and dress code policies.
