Housekeeper

Conduct daily cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, and furniture using equipment such as mops, vacuums, and automatic scrubbers. Empty wastebaskets, polish fixtures, and replace restroom supplies while terminally cleaning rooms used for infected patients. Prepare vacated rooms by disinfecting bathrooms and cupboards, and assist with building security by checking for unauthorized occupants. Perform exterior tasks like cleaning sidewalks and sweeping entrances, and store resident clothing in designated areas. Assist residents with packing during transfers or discharges, and follow strict infection control protocols including proper hand washing, glove usage for gross contamination, and correct dilution of cleaning agents. Maintain a neat appearance and follow directions to ensure a safe environment.
