Job Summary
Housekeeper responsible for cleaning and sanitizing residents’ apartments and common areas, including trash removal, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, baths/toilets, and restocking supplies; deep cleaning as assigned, carpet/furniture cleaning, and window cleaning; assist with move-in readiness, respond to residents’ cleaning needs, maintain equipment, and uphold infection control and safety policies; requires interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and availability for a flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays; supports dining room service and maintains a professional appearance and positive environment for residents, families, vendors, and guests; high school diploma or equivalent preferred; shift from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM with potential full-time benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in housekeeping in a health care or hospitality service preferred
- Must possess interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, families, visitors, and staff
- Must be able to work independently and prioritize workload as emergencies arise
- Must be able to read and understand directions on cleaning solutions and equipment
- Must be knowledgeable of MSDS sheets and hazardous materials guidelines
