Job Summary
Conduct patient-focused cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas using appropriate chemicals and infection control procedures. Perform floor maintenance tasks including burnishing, recoating, and bonneting when qualified. Manage linen inventory by counting items, maintaining par levels on carts, and delivering clean linens to units, clinics, and couriers. Monitor inventory rooms, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues immediately to management. Round units with an iPad to assess linen needs and record final data as requested. Present yourself professionally to patients, nurses, clinicians, and department staff while adhering to all hospital policies and the 10 Step Cleaning method.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 lbs. for force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
- Occasional bodily fluids/bloodborne exposure
