Job Summary
Maintain clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas by servicing rooms daily, stocking carts with supplies, and replacing linens while following safety procedures. Conduct deep cleaning activities including changing AC filters, cleaning coils, repainting walls, and rehanging doors as assigned. Remove trash and dirty linens, ensuring all pre-cleaning duties are completed before restocking. Approach all guest and employee encounters with a friendly, service-oriented manner while maintaining high standards of personal grooming and uniform compliance. Adhere to Avion Hospitality standards for attendance and safe operations. Schedule varies according to hotel needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- experience in a hotel or a related field
- strong attention to detail
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
- ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
