Job Summary
Perform scheduled housekeeping tasks assigned by the supervisor, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, washing windows, shampooing, and vacuuming carpets. Clean and sanitize residences and contents, such as kitchen and bath fixtures, while turning mattresses and moving light furniture. Wash, dry, fold, and store community and resident linens, coordinating delivery and return of laundry. Keep housekeeping carts clean, organized, and stocked with cleaning supplies in OSHA-approved containers. Assist with cleaning and refurbishing of vacated residences. Work as assigned, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, in a non-exempt position. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English
- Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals, as well as being exposed to chemical fumes, dust, and pet dander
- Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- As assigned, including some weekends, evenings, and holidays; non-exempt position
