Job Summary
Perform scheduled housekeeping tasks as assigned by the supervisor, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, window washing, carpet shampooing, and vacuuming. Clean and sanitize residences, contents, and common areas such as apartments, offices, bathrooms, and kitchens; turn mattresses, move light furniture, and empty trash. Wash, dry, fold, and store linens, coordinate laundry delivery, and assist with cleaning vacated residences. Maintain organized housekeeping carts stocked with OSHA-approved cleaning supplies. Work weekends, evenings, and holidays in a non-exempt position.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English
- Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals, as well as being exposed to chemical fumes, dust, and pet dander
- Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- As assigned, including some weekends, evenings, and holidays; non-exempt position
