Job Summary
Housekeeper responsible for daily housekeeping tasks to keep the facility clean, safe, and comfortable. Coordinates housekeeping with nursing services during routine cleaning in resident areas. Duties include cleaning, washing, sanitizing fixtures, floors, and disposing of waste, using appropriate PPE, following safety precautions, and adhering to manufacturer instructions for cleaning chemicals. Performs other duties as assigned and ensures confidentiality of residents' information in line with regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
- Must be willing to work harmoniously with other personnel as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.
