Job Summary
Housekeeper and Companion Caregiver for Visiting Angels of Lawton. Responsibilities include helping with personal care and hygiene, light housekeeping, encouraging exercise, prompting medication times, assisting with shopping and groceries, meal planning/preparation with clients, assisting with mobility and attending appointments or doctor visits, and responding to medical emergencies with proper reporting. Requires strong communication, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma or equivalent; background check and drug screen required; training in First Aid/emergency response. Shift options include Full Time, Part Time, PRN, and various shift lengths; serving clients across Lawton, Duncan, Altus, Chickasha, and surrounding areas in OK.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
