Job Summary
Maintain clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas by thoroughly cleaning rooms, restocking supplies, and replacing linens per shift standards. Perform deep cleaning tasks including disassembling furniture, changing AC filters, and touching up paint or furniture as assigned. Remove all trash and dirty linen, then complete pre-cleaning duties such as setting up the housekeeping cart. Approach all guest and employee encounters with a friendly service-oriented manner while complying with Aimbridge Hospitality safety and brand regulations. Maintain high personal grooming standards and wear the proper uniform and name tag. Work flexible shifts varying by hotel needs, reporting to a supervisor or manager for assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards)
- Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
