Job Summary
Maintain clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas daily by restocking carts, replacing linens, and replenishing supplies per hotel standards. Conduct deep cleaning activities including changing AC filters, cleaning coils, repainting walls, and disassembling furniture as assigned. Remove trash and dirty linens from rooms while thoroughly cleaning the required number of rooms per shift. Approach all guest and employee encounters with a friendly, service-oriented manner and maintain high personal grooming standards. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality safety and operational regulations at all times. Work flexible shifts varying by hotel needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
- Must maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards)
- Must comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Must be able to thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift
- Must be able to complete all pre-cleaning duties including but not limited to guest supplies cleaning supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
- Must be able to remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms
- Must be able to perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager
- Must be able to disassemble furniture or items in the guest room to conduct deep cleaning
- Must be able to change the AC filter
- Must be able to clean the AC coils
- Must be able to touch up paint on walls/molding
- Must be able to touch up scratched furniture
- Must be able to rehang closed slide doors
