Job Summary
Conduct daily housekeeping duties by thoroughly cleaning and restocking guest rooms, removing trash and dirty linens, and setting up the housekeeping cart with supplies and fresh linens. Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned, which may include disassembling furniture, changing AC filters, cleaning coils, and retouching walls or furniture. Approach all guest and employee encounters with a friendly, service-oriented manner while maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and safety regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations. Maintain regular attendance according to the hotel's varying scheduling needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
- High standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards)
- Compliance at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
