Job Summary
Provide housekeeping services for residents to ensure each area is comfortable, clean, and cozy. Maintain tidiness in the lobby, employee break room, and all resident spaces, ensuring everything is in its place. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping throughout the day, while frequently lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds and pushing a wheeled housekeeping cart. Work an 8:00am to 4:00pm shift from Tuesday through Saturday at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, OH.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart
- Good physical health and physical and mental capability to perform assigned tasks
- Health screening verified by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment
- Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening
- Criminal clearance
