Housekeeper (87118)

Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, strip, wash, and shampoo floor surfaces. Clean and dust furniture, closets, telephone areas, and vents. Scour, polish, and sanitize sinks, counters, stainless steel surfaces, and waste receptacles. Empty waste receptacles, clean solid waste containers, and transport medical waste to outside storerooms as directed. Wash windows and walls, removing draperies and rugs as necessary. Gather and return cleaning supplies and equipment daily. Ensure paper supplies are always available. Use room deodorizer as needed. Follow OSHA Standards for handling infectious waste. Maintain a positive environment for residents under the supervision of the housekeeping supervisor.
