Housekeeper (86128)

Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, strip, wash, and shampoo floor surfaces; clean and dust furniture, closets, telephone areas, and vents. Scour, polish, and sanitize sinks, counters, stainless steel surfaces, and waste receptacles. Empty waste receptacles, clean solid waste containers, and transport medical waste to outside storerooms following OSHA Standards for handling infectious waste. Wash windows and walls, remove draperies and rugs as directed, and ensure paper supplies are always available. Gather and return cleaning supplies and equipment daily. Maintain a positive environment for residents under the supervision of the housekeeping supervisor. High School diploma or equivalent required; experience as a housekeeper or janitor preferred.
