Job Summary
Clean and maintain guest rooms and suites to luxury-level standards, ensuring beds, linens, and amenities are perfectly arranged. Deliver thoughtful service that anticipates guest expectations while respecting privacy and following room entry protocols. Identify and report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or service opportunities, and maintain organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas. Support laundry operations, including linen handling and supply replenishment, and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient room turnover. This role requires a strong eye for detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will stand, walk, and lift items up to 40 pounds, with occasional assistance for heavier loads. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift or move items up to 40 pounds with assistance
- Push and maneuver housekeeping carts weighing up to 75–100 pounds
- Perform frequent repetitive movements, including bending, reaching, kneeling, and twisting
- Use cleaning tools and equipment with precision and care
- Visual acuity to identify cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance issues
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals; adherence to PPE and safety standards required
- Ability to remain active throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Must present a professional appearance in accordance with hotel grooming standard
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong reliability, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond with urgency and care
