Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning routines in patient rooms, public areas, and ancillary spaces to maintain a sanitary environment. Collect and transport regulated and non-regulated waste, soiled linens, and materials to designated locations per regulatory guidelines. Move furniture including beds, chairs, and gurneys while securing containers to prevent spillage. Replenish supplies cost-effectively and accurately record inventory and work-related data on department forms. Communicate task status verbally to the shift charge person and follow directions from the supervisor. Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department when the supervisor is absent. Operate under rotating daylight hours from Monday through Sunday, with potential overtime, standby, and on-call requirements. Utilize personal protective equipment including goggles, face shields, masks, and various safety gear as required by CDC guidelines and facility procedures.

- Act 34-PA Criminal Record Check from the PA State Police system
- Ability to perform the Essential Functions listed on the Physical Conditions and ability to perform the Essential Functions on the Working Condition chart below
- Ability to lift 50 lbs (with lift assistance or transfer device required when lift requirement is in excess of 50#)
