Job Summary
Oversee general upkeep, organization, and day-to-day care of a private residence in Montreal's Little Italy neighbourhood. Perform routine cleaning across all areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living spaces, while managing laundry, garment care, and ironing. Maintain furniture, organize storage, and prepare simple food items such as washing and cutting produce. Report maintenance issues, run occasional errands, and ensure the home remains clean and welcoming. Work Monday to Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., for 12 hours per week in a permanent, part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience as a Housekeeper, Household Assistant, or in the maintenance of a private residence
- Excellent housekeeping and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of garment care, laundry procedures, and various textiles
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Discretion, reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Proactive approach and strong service orientation
- Functional proficiency in either French or English
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
