Job Summary
Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization in resident apartments, common areas, and the Health Care Center, including sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, dusting, and vacuuming. Wash windows, polish woodwork, and empty wastebaskets while properly disposing of bodily fluids according to bloodborne pathogen regulations. Restock housekeeping carts, manage linen inventory, and perform laundry duties such as washing, drying, and folding. Move light furniture, replenish supplies in bathrooms and offices, and transport trash to the disposal area. Report maintenance needs via work orders and complete monthly in-service programs and annual health screenings. Adhere to safety protocols, participate in emergency drills, and maintain privacy for residents and clients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
